Through my painting I explore repetitions, rhythms and cycles within the natural world. Often working in series and at times jumping from theme to theme my work is underpinned by a consistent attraction to capturing the light and atmosphere of a moment; small shifts and subtle changes. I enjoy giving a sense of solidity and permanence to things that are often transient and frequently overlooked.
