I have worked in watercolour and mixed media for many years now and have always looked for different techniques to provide depth, freedom and use of colour that give my paintings individuality. Most of my inspiration over the years has been from local towns and harbours in the many fishing villages that surround me. Edinburgh especially inspires me through its elegance which keeps me coming back to paint its magnificent beauty.
