We are absolutely thrilled to be able to bring the Macmillan Art Exhibition to you this year. 2020 has certainly not been without it’s challenges, for all of us in many different ways, but for us as curators to be able to rise to the challenge of ensuring this enormously valuable exhibition could be brought to our current and hopefully new audiences, is tremendously heart-warming and we have no doubt the superb works on offer will engender a high level of interest and appreciation.
Certainly, the format of this year’s show was not what any of us envisaged but with true focus, spirit and determination, we hope to still be able to whet your appetite for some truly fantastic works of art which display a multitude of talents from the artists that are contributing to the exhibition.
At the core of all of this is of course the invaluable cause of Macmillan Cancer Support whose steely drive to deliver such necessary care in these testing times goes on unabated. We thoroughly hope you enjoy perusing this year’s exhibition as much as we have enjoyed putting it together. We have our fingers crossed that next year we can meet both artists and audiences personally again. As ever, we thank you for your on-going support and generosity.
