‘2025 will be my eleventh year on the Show Committee. I am part of the Events team and my main role is to support the wonderful volunteers who come to help us set-up and run our live show each year. The committee is the perfect way for me to combine my love of volunteering and art whilst giving back to a cause close to my heart. I’m excited to meet our 2025 volunteers very soon!.

New to Committee

Last year (2024) was my first foray into the Edinburgh Macmillan Art Show as a volunteer and I thoroughly enjoyed the creativity, the artistry and camaraderie of the exhibition. So much so that I wanted to become more involved and am now part of the committee on the Events Team. The work Macmillan Cancer Support do is essential, the charity and very foundation of Macmillan touches so many in such a positive way – I am delighted to be part of it.

‘I think I have the best job on the committee. I get to talk to and work with all the artists Just like the committee, they are all warm and generous people and we wouldn’t have a show without them. It’s great to know so many people care’
