After training and working as an academic and research scientist for many years, I solely focused on creating art as a full-time occupation in 2017.
My work to date includes devotional paintings of Deity, abstract forest landscapes, as well as more fantastical and witchcraft inspired pieces. More recently, after completing a short course at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, I have been developing my botanical style watercolour painting.
My paintings have been published in academic journals and books dedicated to Goddess studies. In 2018, I became involved in the Seasons of the Witch collective. I have shown my paintings in two of the joint exhibitions so far, and have also modelled for the events, and delivered a talk on the use of botanicals in magic and medicine.
My primary muse is nature, whether it is the wilderness, the sea or the moon, and this is reflected in my work.
