My Honours Degree is in Design from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I began my career as a 2D and 3D Artist in the computer games industry. Throughout my 14 years as a games artist, I worked on various titles, including the Grand Theft Auto brand and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, which won our team a BAFTA.
In 2009, I qualified as a Pilates and Yoga teacher. Teaching movement still allows me to express my creative ideas.
Amidst my rewarding teaching career, I keep my artistic passions alight by illustrating. Architectural and anatomical forms inspire me. I enjoy the challenges they present. I appreciate the physicality of fine line pens on paper and experimental collage. My expressive and energetic lines aim to bring a Joie de vivre to my subjects.
I am an active participant of The Edinburgh Urban Sketchers. Following a drawing trip to The Edinburgh Anatomical Museum, I was asked if I would like my illustration to be part of their permanent displays. Which it now is.
